A Position Overview Position Title Branch Trainer Assistant Manager Department Agency Sales Training Level/ Band 301/Assistant Manager RoleSummary Conducts training as per the defined levels forthe assigned channel, manages ampdevelops assigned trainers and TOs and manages and executes training schedules forthe location.
B Organizational Relationships Reports To Zone Training Manager Supervises Direct Assigned trainers and TOs Indirect IRDA Training Institutes in the zone C Job Dimensions Geographic Area Covered Stakeholders Internal City Heads Training, Trainers, Training Service Providers Agency Managers, Regional Development Managers in their Zone External IRDA Training Institutes , Suppliers D Key Result Areas Critical Responsibilities Training as per assigned Channel Agency Agent Level 2A, Level 2B, Level 2C , Level 2D and PBA Corporate Agency Channel Level 2, Level 3 Bank Assurance Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 Broking Level 1, Level 2 Manage the local training resources and training schedule Manage assigned Trainers and TOs on a day to day basis Primary Responsibilities IRDA passing percentage of advisors should be minimum 80 To announce monthly training schedules by the 5th of ever month in conjunction with Zone Heads Submit weekly / monthly reports to Head of Distribution Training Ensure all IRDA rules and regulations are followed as far as training is concerned Defect free adherence to IRDA rules and regulations To ensure training records are maintained and updated constantly E Skills Required Technical Training Skills Product knowledge Behavioral Team Management Leadership skills Communication skills Trainer observation skills Essential Desired Interpersonal skills Communication skills Creative thinking skills Supervising/Leadership skills Teamwork Skills Influencing skills Relationship Building skills Decision making skills F Incumbent Characteristics Essential Desired Qualification Graduation AIII/ FIII most preferred for IRDA trainers profile.
Even Licentiate Pass of III also to be given preference.
Insurance qualification like LOMA etc. to be preferred.
Experience Should have at least 2 years of sales experience 3 years of Training experience desired
