Job DescriptionSelected candidates will be responsible for defining and overseeing the delivery of comprehensive and complex solutions for clients.
A MindTree Program Manager balances business and technology skills with an enterprise view.
This job will typically entail the following responsibilities Understand the client business objective and break it down to the technofunctional elements that will help achieve itRun complex projects/programs from discovery and design to productionDemonstrate key management skills like resource, issue, risk, scope, cost and stakeholder management at a program levelIntegrate, align and maintain MindTree and client teams as a cohesive working unitPartner with the client organization in proactively managing changeAssures the program and related projects achieve their stated objectiveCreate strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning at a program levelDirects and oversees global project business and engineering teams and manages conflicts within group.
Assess and address client change management needs that will be required to support or may result from the new solutionAdvise client organizations regarding program management best practicesCandidates must have a demonstrated background in program management and must have a strong mix of business, consulting, technical, and relationship management skills.
They may work with clients to define and deliver a solution or they may orchestrate the delivery of a well defined solution.
Should have worked in JAVA background.
Candidate should come from insurance background.
Candidate CompetenciesTechnofunctional background with 10 years of relevant experience atleast 5 yrs in Project delivery roles and 45 years in Project Management, overall 24 years in an onsite client facing role.
Prior consulting or outsourcing field experience is strongly preferred Candidate should have depth and experience working with two or more of the following program/project areas web or custom application software development, software implementation or software deployment, infrastructure deployment, business process or technical services outsourcing or information management.
Solid knowledge and experience of Project Management Office function and project lifecycle management including budget and planning, work scheduling and work management, stage gate processes, contract management, and risk and quality management.
Prior experience managing varied groups or distributed global teams.
Experience in working with clients of different culturesShould have a clear understanding of financial management and be able to build business value justification casesVery strong communication and interpersonal skills.
